1892 was the perfect place to stay for my sister’s wedding weekend in Canandaigua. We rented out the whole space and split up friends throughout different rooms… It was the perfect place for everyone to get ready together and made the celebration so much more fun than had we been in separate hotel rooms. The hair and makeup team were able to come to the suites and because of the wonderful kitchens, we were able to have indulgent breakfasts while all getting ready and having hair and makeup done. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, incredibly spacious - and so thoughtfully done. Danielle was a wonderful host and made the planning so easy… I can’t recommend it enough
Amazing atmosphere and designed/ done up to the max!!. This place is one of a kind and was amazing to go for a long weekend. You cannot beat the quality of these rooms and also their location and proximity to everything that Canandaigua has to offer. Highly recommend. Will definitely go back!!!
A wonderful hotel with everything you could need while being away from home. Very nice size rooms, a wonderful kitchen and great size living rooms. All the charm you can imagine. Just a wonderful place to be and so close to restaurants shops and the lake. You can walk to just about everything you need or want. My wife and I stayed at the 1892 Hotel for a last minute staycation baby-moon. We were both thrilled with our visit. Everything about the experience was incredible - from the beautifully appointed suite to the timeless ambiance of the space, every last detail is considered. It is comfortable and cozy, making it the perfect place for a quiet getaway. Paired with a vibrant local food and beverage scene, it doesn’t get much better than this. We have a new favorite destination in the village of Canandaigua and eagerly look forward to making the 1892 Hotel a regular part of our future special celebrations.
The most charming hotel located right on the adorable Main Street of Canandaigua! We had the best stay at 1892. It is such a beautiful and clean space, with every detail so clearly thought out - from the decor, to the plush robes, to the delicious smelling body wash! We stayed for a wedding and it was the perfect venue for getting ready with the bride and bridal party! Thank you to Danielle and her team for an incredible stay! Would love to come back soon!
A special place- beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Danielle went out of her way to make us feel welcome and was a great resource for everything we needed to include restaurant recommendations, securing concert tickets, things to do , etc. Location is in the heart of downtown which is very fun yet the hotel is very quiet. Excellent experience!
Hotel 1892 hosted my husband and I along with our wedding party the weekend of our wedding and everything was perfect! We couldn’t get over how beautiful the space was. Myself and 10 bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, and other loved ones got our hair and make up done in the top two suites and it ran so smoothly and enjoyably! There was plenty of space and the kitchen was very useful for having a catered breakfast. The natural lighting of the rooms were magnificent for our photos. On top of that, all of the rooms were very cozy and welcoming. The location is pristine and in the heart of Canandaigua. All of our guests were raving about how much they enjoyed their stay. Danielle and David went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We would recommend Hotel 1892 to everyone whether you’re looking for a cute weekend getaway to or getting ready for a wedding!
This hotel is one of a kind in downtown Canandaigua. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and the lake. It's truly home away from home. Had an epic sleepover with my friends and we had a blast. The rooms are spacious with high end decor and furnishings. Full kitchen available with everything you may need during your stay. Check in and check was seamless. The hosts action to details was the icing of top for us. Can't wait to return!
